ContentPass, a discount aggregator of premium websites, has launched its site, finally coming out of stealth mode…the backend fulfillment of the service is being handled by Yaga, the content commerce player.
Consumers, especially heavy users, get the benefit of a single sign-on with a consolidated bill for all their purchases from affiliate companies.
Initially, the site is focusing on aggregating gaming related premium sites, negotiating a bulk rate purchase that consumers realize when they subscribe through ContentPass.com and purchase a minimum amount of content. The company is positioning itself at the “Publishers’ ClearingHouse on the Web”, whic I am not sure is a very smart tag to have…
