OK, so it has happened, despite some differences over agendas of the two organizations in UK…the UK Association of Online Publishers (AOP) and the UK Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) have agreed to a number of new initiatives to work together “to accelerate the growth of the interactive commercial market”.
“At the core of the agreement is a shared desire to grow online advertising spend, and an awareness that activity in areas such as audience measurement, trade marketing of online, advertising standards, and proving advertising effectiveness, should not be duplicated.”
