Salon Media Group’s net revenues increased 6% to $1.1 million for Q3, up from $1.0 million for in the year-ago quarter. Ad revenues decreased to $0.4 million (which is surprising, considering the general uptick), from $0.5 million in the year-ago quarter.
Subscription revenues increased to $0.6 million, from $0.5 million. New and renewal one-year subscriptions to Salon Premium for the three months ended September 30, 2003 were approximately 15,000, and approximately 30,000 for the six months ended September 30, 2003, compared to approximately 8,000 for the three months ended September 30, 2002 and 17,000 for the six months ended September 30, 2002.
