Some pics on a cold, cold day in Tampere (horrible camera, so pardon the quality!)
I am in Nokia country, literally! The small town of Tampere in Finland is where Nokia was born. The company has industrial antecedents, and that is evidenced in its old and now refurbished factory buildings across the town.
And hey, do you know what kids here do when they do to bars: play video games! I went to a new gaming platform launch party last night: Finland has launched a new local gaming platform, called Pelaaja, to boost local content, and has big funding behind it. They even have an official Pelaaja magazine…
More notes and pics from from a cold and chilly Tampere later..
