Kodak is teaming up with Cingular to provide mobile imaging for $2.99 a month. The “Kodak Mobile” service offers anytime, anywhere access to a user’s digital photo libraries and phone-captured video. It comes with a 90-day free trial and then is billed via the customer’s account with Cingular. The Wall Street Journal reports that the deal is the first of several that Kodak will announce with carriers, but that Fuji and others got there first via AT&T Wireless. Cingular previously offered digital photo and video services, but hasn’t provided library capabilities.
