AOL is launching a new area on its service, called AOL Food, which will have Time Inc magazines’ store of recipes, cooking advice and kitchen tips. Time Inc.’s editors of Southern Progress magazines including Cooking Light, Real Simple, Southern Living, Health, Sunset, Coastal Living and cookbook publisher Oxmoor House worked with AOL to build cooking-related features into the service. More titles are to be added in coming months.

Time Inc. plans to market AOL Food across 16 Time Inc. publications with a combined circulation of 22 million and an estimated readership of 128 million. It also plans to hand out stickers and AOL software CDs at newsstands.
