Autralian telco Optus has launched the nation’s first mobile phone TV offering: its five million-plus mobile customers could watch the ABC, SBS and CNN live over their handsets, if they had one of the five models equipped to run video streaming.
As well as the TV offering, Optus service offers video downloads of news bulletins, such as finance updates from Australian Associated Press and the Seven network.
