OJR treads on my territory… British news sites are leading the charge, by charging, according to this story. Some of it is smart thinking, like charging for allied services around content, but a lot of it is just herd behavior (even though the story doesn’t mention it).
An excellent story, all in all. And some fun too…like their counterparts in the print media, the head of online newspapers divisions can’t help take a swipe at each other…but we’re British, so that’s our birthright, even online!
