Newsstand and Zinio Systems unveiled new digital publishing initiatives that are likely to accelerate the migration of printed media to digital formats.
Newsstand is launching its first consumer subscription acquisition campaign, aimed mainly at the young adults (18-24) who are known to be heavy downloaders of digital media.
Zinio, meanwhile, announced plans to begin delivering rich media ads (using video and Flash) for Jeep for the digital editions of BusinessWeek magazine.
