Coinciding with the CTIA conference, a slew of mobile content deals have been announced. Some of them are below:
– Sony Ericsson Expands Online Offerings: it has launched a new Fun & Downloads online section — an online consumer club where users can access exclusive services, applications and exciting content for mobile phones.
– Upoc, Vindigo offer service for BREW: Upoc announced it partnered with Vindigo Studios to offer a version of the Upoc mobile community service for BREW-enabled mobile phones.
– Vindigo Studios and WireImag Tie Up: The companies will create new WireImage subscription services and deliver their photos of news and events to mobile phones across the U.S.
– Sorren Appoints CEO; Expands Tie-Up With FoxSports: Greg Ballard is the new CEO of Sorrent. In addition, Sorrent has also extended its partnership with Fox Sports Interactive Media, acquiring exclusive rights to the Fox Sports license in the Americas, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.
– Star Trek Content on Brew: Versaly to release Star Trek BREW-based wallpapers and ringtones.
– Fear Factor On Cell: NBC Enterprises, Endemol USA and Versaly Entertainment plans to produce, sell and wirelessly distribute music, images and sounds from the reality television show Fear Factor.
– World Series Baseball Fever With Verizon Wireless
– Mforma Ties Up With Tecmo Mobile: Tecmo Mobile, a new division of Tecmo, the video games publisher, has tied up with Mforma, to bring some of Tecmo’s most popular video games to mobile phones.
– Mforma and Activision Tie Up: Two of Activision’s holiday video games, True Crime: Streets of L.A. and Call of Duty, will be ported to wireless users worldwide.
– Zanies Comedy Club On Cell: Glencom Entertainment and Zanies Comedy Clubs announced the availability of Zanies Wireless, a multimedia comedy application.
