Slightly old story (Wi-Fi operator Wayport teamed up with Zinio Systems to deliver digital magazines), but Wayport has some ambitions beyond just being an operator, just like most telecom operators in Europe…Wayport sees electronic magazines as its first step in offering compelling content with broad appeal to all varieties of Wi-Fi users. “If there’s an opportunity to promote [movie trailers], music or even full-length, DVD-type movies, we hope to integrate them into our system,” [Dan Lowden, Wayport’s VP of marketing] said.
