This according to the brand-new OPA Europe…it has started a benchmark index, and that rose 40 percent from Q1 to Q2 2003. Driver behind the figures was mainly online advertising. The advertising revenues increased rapidly, especially in the period of time between March and June 2003.
Participants are European online publishers like CNET Networks France, CNET Networks UK, CNET Networks Germany, Le Temps, Le Monde interactif, Kathimerini, Spiegel Online, Kataweb (Gruppo L’Espresso) and El Pais (Prisacom). It will be published on a regular basis from now on, according to OPA Europe.
