AOL Europe plans to launch an online radio station next week and a download service by next spring in Europe…If it hits its Q2 European launch target, the U.S. media giant would probably beat Apple’s iTunes and the new Napster.
The download service will be available for AOL’s 6.2 million British, German and French Internet access subscribers…In a prelude, AOL aims to launch on October 13 “Radio@AOL Broadband”, a free service that carries five radio channels.
