Informa Acquires Van Dusseldorp & Associates’ Assets

Update: the story I pointed to is wrong. Completely. The site I linked to (Vin Crosbie’s company blog) got it wrong. According to a correction by Vin Crosbie: “It’s assets have NOT been acquired by another company, are still proceeding through the Dutch bankruptcy court, and Monique van Dusseldorp is very much among the bidders.”

The original story below:

Van Dusseldorp, the Amsterdam-based digital media research company, which filed for bankruptcy in July, has been bought out: the assets were bought by the B2B publishing major Informa Group.

The assets include Van Dusseldorp & Associates’ consulting, research, and conferences unit, and the Europemedia New Media news Web site…Informa recently outbid founder and prior owner Monique van Dusseldorp in the Dutch courts and acquired the assets, according to this story.
