UK streaming media firm Newsplayer Group (with great resource sites like Newsplayer and Frost.tv) has purchased New York-based Global Media Services. The company said that GMS is a complimentary fit to its existing business and has agreed to pay as much as £3.24m in shares to owners Adam Cohen and Jennifer Sultan.
GMS offers a range of services to help companies deliver audio visual content on the web, including hosting, content delivery, pay-per-view, syndication and DRM.
