A reader “corrected” me on Jim Daly being the only tech editor to drop off the radar bit (in the Red Herring story below) [Update: Ok, so maybe Jim Daly didn’t really drop off the radar: he has been a consulting editor at Forbes for some time now, and doing a bunch of other things]): Jonathan Weber, the Industry Standard editorial chief, is now in Montana, and working for some investment research firm called OTA-Off The Record Research. He’s the “Executive Editor for International Research”….oh well..
On a related note, Rafe Needleman, the columnist for Business 2.0 (and at Red Herring before that), is leaving the magazine and will be joining Tony Perkins’ AlwaysOn as a full-time columnist (his column’s title there is “Rafer Madness”..again, oh well….)
