Peter Lowe, Apple’s director of marketing for applications and services, downplayed recent questions over the download resale policy of the company’s iTunes Music Store, saying technical if not legal barriers would largely prevent such transfers from taking place. Lowe said that with songs selling for 99 cents apiece, reselling music could be financially impractical. “Economically, I don’t believe there is going to be much of a market for resold music…We just don’t see it as that much of an issue,” he said.
