Nokia is acquiring the assets Sega.com, the online unit and wireless game unit of Japanese game maker Sega. Sega.com’s multi-player technology will now become an integral part of the Nokia’s game console N-Gage. Financial details were not released.
The Sega Network Application Package (SNAP), that enables networked multi- player games, will form the core part of Nokia Mobile Phones’ Entertainment and Media Business Unit’s online games activity.
