UK online music group OD2 has denied accusations it is operating as a monopoly, despite being the only company in Europe to have been able to license content for online distribution from any of the major record labels.
Its client list reads like a who’s who of European portals and ISPs, including Tiscali, BT, and Freeserve, and it yesterday struck a new deal that will allow Microsoft to offer the first European per track download service.
