iVillage, which yesterday announced the acquisition of gURL.com, has reported lower Q2 revenues of $13.2 million, compared to $16.1 in the year-ago quarter. It had a net loss of $12.1 million, which includes $8.1 miilion one-time, non-cash charges largely related to cost saving initiatives. This compares to a net loss of $3.6 million in the year-ago period. iVillage expects to become EBITDA postive by fourth quarter.
The company is in the final stages of signing a content distribution deal with a big portal, though the no details have been released yet.
