Nokia has been working closely with the music industry to make them port music to cell phones, and in effect persuade labels and music fans that mobile listening works. In June, the company did a Pan-European marketing agreement with Warner Music International, which involved WMI providing music tracks for the new Nokia 3300 — the company’s first phone designed to play full-length recordings, rather than ring tones.
