RealNetworks has reached a deal with the Ladies Professional Golf Association to webcast the Canadian Open, which is set to become the first major professional golf tournament streamed live over the Internet.
The coverage will include 10 hours from Thursday to Sunday and will be free, although subscribers to RealNetworks’ RealOne SuperPass paid multimedia service will have access to a higher-quality online-video feed.
