(via DoneWaiting): Spin.com and Vibe.com, both part of Miller Publishing Group, are back. The group sites–two of the earliest websites connected to print magazines–stopped posting original content back in mid-2001.
Now both of them are back, with original stories and magazines’ content. And surprise, surprise, they are using open source CMS PostNuke, which gives it a weblog feel. This is the first time I have seen a major magazine/media site using an open-source CMS system. Hell, they are even posting Chuck Klosterman’s stories online, which is great (and if you haven’t read his book Fargo Rock City, what are you waiting for?!)
