Amazon Confirms Music Plans


(via Frank Barnako): Amazon has confirmed plans of offering a music store aking to Apple’s iTunes. In Tokyo, senior VP Diego Piacentini told Reuters: “You should definitely expect Amazon to run a digital music download service in the future,” he said. “We are going to be the place where people buy music. Digital will be even better for us, because you don’t have to ship the products.”
