Interesting point about Napster continuing validity (or the lack of it): “If initial exposure to an online brand meant something, we’d all be buying books on http://www.books.com, getting news headlines via PointCast, and browsing the Web with Netscape Navigator…If the new Napster turns out to be nothing but a music store, even if it works as well as or better than the iTunes, the attempt to rebrand a viral community service as e-commerce is likely to fail.”
