This according to an e-mail news alert from Inside Market Data (couldn’t find it online…in any case the site is subscription-based). The offers for Moneyline Telerate, which were not formal bids, were made after ABN Amro circulated Moneyline’s financials to a number of vendors this spring. A source familiar with the offers says Reuters offered $66 million and Thomson offered $114 million, according to the story.
