Indian Firm Gets Rights to Webcast Over 5,500 Movies


Indian company Filmnasha TV Entertainment has acquired the rights to webcasting 5,500 movies in Indian languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and other languages), which can be watched on GSM mobile phones as well as PCs.

Interestingly, in a country like India, the mobile version would become more popular, according to the company, as broadband internet connection is not easily accessible yet in the country…figure that…that’s call jumping the curve.
