Audible’s Subscription Revenues Rise; Losses Decrease

Audible, the spoken audio subscription service, has reported consumer content subscription revenues of $3.9 million in Q1 ’03, an increase of 93 percent from the year-ago quarter. The company reported total revenues of $4.1 million in the quarter, and losses of $1.8 million, compared to losses of $4.6 million in the year-ago quarter. The company’s customer acquisition cost also decreased 10 percent over the quarter.
