Slate, which recently turned profitable, and NPR News have announced they are collaborating to produce a daily radio newsmagazine, set to debut on NPR stations in July 2003. The new, one-hour weekday radio newsmagazine, Day to Day, targeted for midday broadcast on NPR stations.
NPR and Slate will also co-produce online features for the program and cross-promote their Web sites, slate.com and NPR.org, with content links.
