Bango Launches Mobile Personalized Payment Technology


A very interesting development in mobile content payments: Bango, the UK-based mobile content payment provider, has announced a new personalisation technology called Bango Fingerprint.
“Although Bango Fingerprint provides each user with a unique identity, it does not reveal any of the user’s personal information such as telephone number or e-mail address, unless such permission has been specifically granted. Bango is also insisting that all content providers using their system rate their content as either ‘U’ for universally acceptable or ‘R’ for adult. Parents can disable childrens’ access to R-rated content using a simple short code.”
