England experiments with youth, as dead wood is cleared

BBC reports that England is now going in for promising youngsters instead of trying to convince the hasbeens into staying on. It will be a good strategy – look how well India has done by going the youth route. Nick Knight has decided to quit the one-day game as well and is likely to be replaced by one of these three – Jim Troughton, the Warwickshire batsman, Nottinghamshire’s 19-year-old Bilal Shafayat and Surrey all-rounder Rikki Clarke. Robert Key, will replace Nasser Hussain.
