Reuters, which launched its Raw Video streaming news service online on Mar 19, and was supposed to charge for it within a week, has changed its mind for now. “We have been bowled over by the success of this addition to our reuters.com site,” said Tony Donovan, managing director of Reuters TV, to Lost Remote. “Like the war, it is certainly too early to say what happens next.”
I am sure some companies–TheFeedRoom and especially content commerce company Yaga–helping them launch this service are not very happy with this turn of events.
