Cellphone Operators Say Demand Rises For War News

News delivery on wireless devices is getting a boost due to the present conflict in Iraq. That is good news for mobile-phone operators that have been trying, and mostly failing, for the past few years to persuade customers to use their mobile phones to access content, such as news, consumer information and entertainment. They hope people will become accustomed to downloading and exchanging content using their handsets, opening up a new revenue stream. Users typically pay a subscription fee or for each individual news item.
