This according to Debora Wilson, CEO of Weather Channel Interactive, speaking at the Jupiter Online Media Conference. Weather.com will launch a subscription service for weather geeks (my phraseology, not Debora’s) later this year, which will have a greater level of weather data and tools than its present service. This will be for people who are “fascinated and awed by the weather”, and will have things like radar imagery tools, interactive maps and other “cool tools”.
