Online media company eUniverse announced that Microsoft property MSN had signed up its SkillJam.com unit to add play-for-cash games to MSN’s Zone.com, a site that has a mix of card, board and word games. “Sony Music’s 550 Digital Media Ventures owns 18 percent of eUniverse. With executives at Verisign and interactive software company THQ also sitting on the board of eUniverse, the company is poised to take not only SkillJam, but some of its other diversionary sites like Flowgo.com or Madblast.com, into the world of broadband and increased revenue.”
