“Mobile Sector in Crisis”

That is the view of Professor Peter Bruck, from Austrian Research Centers in Salzburg. He believes the crisis is on three levels: the limit for further growth, a crisis in terms of new individual services, and the crisis of the third generation technology. Could content on mobile come to the rescue? “No…It will take considerable time…before the customers are willing to pay for this content…Mobile contents are…quick, they are location based , they are situation based . There might come an explosion of new services but research and market development do not indicate that this is what the customers are waiting for. I personally think that developments of for instance WiFi might be able to catch the attention of the customer more.”
