Yahoo is expected to roll out its subscription audio and video service on Monday. Called Yahoo Platinum, which will include clips of news, entertainment and sports content, will cost $9.95 per month, with price on par with rival RealNetworks’ RealOne service. The service is expected to include video and audio from the tournament produced by SportsLine.com (SPLN: news, chart, profile), along with Nascar.com content produced by AOL Time Warner’s (AOL: news, chart, profile) Turner Sports Interactive.
And will journalists please stop quoting Christopher Schroeder, publisher of Washington Post Newsweek Interactive?
