Vodafone to Offer MSN Services: Vodafone Group plans to launch a service allowing its U.K. subscribers to tap into their Microsoft MSN e-mail and instant-messaging accounts using a mobile phone. Microsoft and Vodafone will share the revenue generated. Mobile-phone users will be alerted by text message to an incoming Hotmail from designated senders and will then be able to send a text message back requesting to see the e-mail. Users will be charged 10 pence (25 U.S. cents, 15.1 European cents) for each text message sent and received.
