Hoover’s Sees More Revenues As An Independent Company: This fight is getting interesting: Hoover’s thinks it can earn more revenues by staying independent, rather than its impending merger with D&B. It is on track as an independent company to realize revenues of more than $60 million and a net margin of more than 27 percent for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2007, according to an SEC filing. Meanwhile, Reuters reports that the company has set Feb. 14 as the as the date for shareholders to vote on a proposed $81 million cash takeover by financial information publisher D&B.
