Lower the Price of Web Archives: Following yesterday’s news that Yahoo has a new deal with the Associated Press–to offer individual archived articles from AP for $1.50 each–Steve Outing writes that the price may be too high for a general Web audience. “For a mass audience like Yahoo!’s, a 50-cent price point, for example, could raise volume enough to bring in more revenue — because it’s within the reach of college (even younger) students, parents, teachers, etc.”
