Dig_iT, the new digital lifestyle magazine launched by tech veterans including PC World founding editor (and former Upside editor) David Bunnell, is tighly integrating its website with the magazine content. Not much of its print content will be available online for free, or at least that how it seems from the website right now. “To save money on direct marketing campaigns, they have also done away with the subscription cards that tumble from the pages of most magazines. Through the Internet only, people can pay $2 a month for a membership, which includes a magazine subscription, exclusive online content, and deals on Internet domain names and long-distance telephone service resold by DigiT.”
That exclusive online content will be availabe through its “Dig_iT Club”, where members/subscribers will get access to the magazine content, e-mails newsletters, “polls, tips, tricks, advice and a community of digital lifestyle pioneers (hey that’s you!) that love to use gadgets.”
