Reuters.com To Launch Subscription Services Within the Next 12 months: Reuters.com has just re-launched with a new design, and is now aiming to appeal to the individual investors: “serious investors, business professionals and high net worth individuals.” In this market, it will now compete head-on with the likes of CBS MarketWatch and Bloomberg.com. Reuters.com plans to launch similar sites for Europe and Asia in the next year or so.
With the site, and its initial free newsletters, this is the first B2C effort from Reuters. Premium subscriptions and other paid-content offerings will be introduced on Reuters.com in the next 12 months.
