NewsStand Receives $8 Million Financing


Digital delivery technology firm NewsStand has closed an $8 million third round of venture financing from Adams Capital Management. This funding round is in addition to $8 million second round obtained in March 2002 from SSM Ventures, Noro-Moseley Partners and The New York Times Company.

NYT has a 25 percent stake in the company. NewsStand powers the electronic edition of newspapers such as The New York Times, Barron’s, and Harvard Business Review, among others.
