NYTimes.com’s Earnings for Third Quarter: Revenues increased 26.8 percent in Q3 to $18.2 million from $14.4 million in the year-ago quarter. Revenues improved as a “result of stronger online advertising, especially in the technology, finance and travel categories.”
Operating profit was $2.8 million, compared with $0.8 million in the year-ago quarter, primarily resulting from an increase in revenues.
