TheStreet.com’s Focus on Finance Professionals: TheStreet.com is now focusing on a decidedly more tangible business: financial professionals, an audience that “has always paid for content, and will always pay for content,” says Joseph C. Marino, a senior VP who now oversees the company’s “Professional Markets” products. Subscriptions can run between $2,000 a year and $30,000 a year, says Marino, so a small increase in subscribers “has a real impact on the company.”
