BT won’t be working with gambling and adult content when it launches its U.K. online micropayments scheme, Click&buy, in the next few weeks. BT this week unveiled the first tranche of sites participating in Click&buy. It has signed up over 20 partners including Motley Fool, Rivals Digital Media and Sportev.
However, start-up rival Ymogen has said it is willing to offer its services to such sites. Users of both schemes will eventually be able to settle their accounts through credit or debit cards and phone bills.
For more on the BT service, read the press release issued in April.
