Excellent and exciting opportunity to take ownership of Safenet‘s websites, intranets, campaign management and ecommerce capability, bring it to the next level as well as shape the companies online strategy for the next three to five years.
Our Online Manager will have day-to-day responsibility for the following: developing and maintaining the corporate and the company’s international websites; developing landing pages or other web-based tools as requested by marketing; implementing online campaigns as requested; providing on-going statistics on web traffic; working with IT to ensure stability of all online systems and problem solving; coordinating with incumbent vendor on issues relating to our IR website; work as requested on the company intranet; and managing the e-commerce site and servicing our customers.
The manager will work with IT’s application group’s marketing project manager on the back-end, Intranet design, and database requirements. Working with the sales group and marketing product managers will ensure that the website is an effective tool to generate and manage leads, facilitate communication with customers, partners and prospects, and an effective tool in generating revenues.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
— Take control and lead the global online strategy.
— Work closely with the IT applications team, drive all aspects of managing web projects, including planning, design, development, content management, functionality, metrics and measurement.
— Execute strategic and tactical marketing efforts that include e-mail campaigns using Pivotal MarketFirst Direct Marketing ManagerTM, search engine marketing and online ads.
— Manage relationships with vendors.
— Report on results and web metrics: increase qualified traffic & lead conversion.
— Oversee and manage responses to web feedback forms & customer service requests.
— Manage integration of new and acquired products – lead web project teams through all phases of web integration including assessment, content transition plan, lead management, QA, launch and training.
— Evaluate new web tools and technologies and the impact they can make to our business. Drive strategy and buy-in around adoption of new tools, working with the IT application team support the implementation and ongoing management.
— Work with internal business owners and in particular the IT application team to assess the usability, features & functionality of internally managed tools & applications and ensure a seamless flow from the web to the application.
— Managing a small team of managers.
Job Specifications:
— 7 years experience in web-based marketing.
— 4 years experience with HTML, ASP, PHP, JavaScript.
— Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Marketing, Communications, IT, or Web Development or related field of study or equivalent work experience.
— Preferred – knowledge of: Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, Dreamweaver MX2004, QuarkXpress 7, Flash MX
— Ability to structure departmental responsibilities and implement strategies with little supervision.
— Ability to be hands-on, especially in implementing on-line campaigns.
