Sure, facebook has people's profiles, status updates, and other sorts of intimate information, but that happens to be because it gives users the right to decide who their friends are and who ultimately sees that information. Facebook has privacy and security settings like no other program. These companies are delusional if they think they can piggyback off of facebook's success. Facebook is just more fun. Why socialize with strangers on the internet when all your friends and your favorite games are on the facebook network.
