Shows about lesbians are all the rage these days. The TVLoop application for The L Word on Facebook is consistently in our top 5 apps in terms of growth week in and week out. It has been that way since October and now that the series has finally returned, I don't see that changing any time in the near future.

This is surprisingly engaging...and, is the first series I can think of in nearly a Year that fulfills that "indie professional web series with cross-platform opportunities" thing for fictional content.

Interesting they went the multi-act, 7-8 minute/episode route -- we haven't seen that in a long time -- really glad they didn't PromQueen-it (remember all the hype over that meaningless piece of drivel?) with thin 1-acts in :02 minute bites.

Wowzer, good camera work, lighting and concern for dialogue? Something that can compete against Showtime/HBO for eyeballs? Yes, it's a bit After School Specialish, but still, it's refreshing (gee, no obsession with making the girls wear glasses or use Macs...how un-web tv is that?)...

Nice to see someone can tell a story in this space.

You're right, I'm only read this because 'young lesbian love' was in the title -- I'm sorta let down, but will check out the web series anyhow...
