Weekend Vid Picks: Don’t Mess With the Democrats
Well, after a rough and humbling eight years under George W. Bush, the Democratic party seems to be getting a little cocky. I mean, it’s not like they don’t have a good reason; after all, the de facto leader of their party is a ninja.
OK maybe he’s not a ninja. But during a CNBC interview, President Obama was caught on camera swatting a fly seemingly out of thin air, then proudly pointing to the fly corpse before returning to the conversation. It caused no shortage of “wow” responses, and inspired Barely Political to create this kung fu-esque tribute:
And he’s not the only one showing some cojones — at an environmental and public works committee meeting this week, California Sen. Barbara Boxer reprimanded Brigadier General Michael Walsh for calling her “ma’am” — the clip went viral shortly after.
She’s fair in making this request (especially when you compare it to how some people react to getting called by a nickname), but firm as well. I just wonder what’s next. Howard Dean riding a mechanical bull? John Kerry challenging Chuck Norris to a slapfight? (My money’s on Norris.)

Barbara Boxer need only look around her state of California and she will know what a disaster Democrats have been for that once propserous state. They cannot even print a bond anyone would buy. They were the first socialist state in the US and what an example of how dumb Democrats actually are. Boxer, Pelosi and Feinstein need to all be replaced by Republicans and maybe California can be saved. Otherwise we probably need to just give that state to Mexico. They deserve them.
